The talks between the ministerial partners at the Palace of Justice in Vienna once again confirmed the high level of fair relations and cooperation between the Prosecutors General of the Slovak Republic and the Procurator General of the Republic of Austria, which Prosecutor General Maroš Žilinka has repeatedly praised.
The core topic of the bilateral meeting—attended by Maroš Žilinka and Margit Wachberger, along with the Austrian Deputy Procurator General, Ulrich Knibbe and Michael Leitner, and the Slovak First Deputy Prosecutor General, Jozef Kandera, and Deputy Prosecutor General, Jozef Sedlák—focused on the rising number of attacks against women, cases of domestic violence, and abuse of close persons in both countries. As Maroš Žilinka stated, this phenomenon is becoming a serious global social issue.
